The AerWay family of patented “Vertical Tillage” tines are designed to relieve compaction and loosen the soil profile for superior absorption and retention of liquid waste. The unique lean and twist of the tines is designed to move the soil laterally and to fracture soils 8” and deeper. The tine action disrupts the preferential flow of manure by creating pockets which act as temporary reservoirs to contain and absorb the slurry into the surrounding soil.

The AerWay SSD is available in a variety of sizes and configurations each employing our unmatched “State-of-the-art Precision Distribution System”. This system helps farmers meet or exceed expectations of their “Best Management Practices”

We know that “one size fits all” doesn’t work well when it comes to challenging field conditions and environmental issues. In recognition of these spreading limitations, AerWay has developed the SSD family with numerous choices available for Dragline and Slurry Tank Systems. Depending on the job and operator preferences, we have slurry tank spreading systems available in either Pull Type or 3-Point versions.

These machines are generally pull-type configurations, designed for larger acreages where the topography and logistics allow higher volumes of slurry to be pumped directly to the work site. This helps to maximize productivity and minimize travel time. The Dragline slurry nozzles can be located to either the front or rear of the machine.

The SSD and Slurry Tank combination play a vital role in slurry application. They accommodate fields that come in various shapes, sizes, location and terrain. This combination helps deliver the slurry evenly and efficiently to conserve nutrients in the tine pockets. The tine fracturing action reduces or eliminates compaction caused by the tank and tractor traffic. The SSD – Tank System is available in either Pull Type or 3-Point versions

Features may include:

• AerWay tines can be spaced as close as 3.75” to 7.5” for uniform fertility and fracturing per acre. The result is superior nutrient balance and absorption when compared to shank injectors which are typically set at a much wider spacing

AerWay incorporation is achieved with controlled tine pocket fractures rather than the disruptive continuous trenching of injector shanks reducing the risk of run-off.
